A sacred pause fora clearer perspective.

Crafted just for the two of you—
your therapeutic couples’ intensive.

Love takes many shapes—steady, strained, shattered.

Some couples arrive here doing "well." Some are quietly disconnected.Others are standing in the wreckage, unsure how to begin again.

They're different stories, but often the same longing:

To be seen, to be known,to stop repeating what hurts.

SACCA was created for the times when weekly therapy isn’t enough. Those times when conversations open just as the clock runs out, when what they really need is the space to breathe.

Slow down.
See one another.

Over a two- to three-day intensive, you can finally press pause on everything else and turn fully toward each other. What unfolds is shaped entirely for you: a guided experience that begins with a clear view of where you are and ushers you gently into what’s next.

Your story.

Your personalized experience begins with your story—what’s happening, what hurts, and what’s ready to heal.

Montana's serenity.

Montana gives you what most places can’t: quiet, space, and a pace that invites your whole system to release.

A curated experience.

We’re trained in many modalities and lead with attuned presence, shaping the work around your unique journey.

How we make the experience yours.

The intake.

Every couples' intensive begins with a 90-minute session where we listen deeply—sometimes together, sometimes individually. You’ll share your story, what’s felt painful or disconnected, or simply where you hope to grow. This time helps us understand not just your goals but also your patterns and relational dynamics so we can design an experience that truly fits both of you.

The pre-work.

After the intake, you’ll each receive a personalized packet to help you prepare. It might include reflections on attachment, trust, or relational patterns, or short grounding practices to begin before you arrive. This isn’t busy work—it’s a way to deepen our efforts before they begin. By completing it, we gain a shared language and direction so we can dive right in when you arrive.

The intensive.

In Montana, the pace changes. You’ll enter a quiet, private space designed for deep connection—no interruptions, no clock watching, no outside noise. Each day unfolds in collaboration with you: the length of sessions, the balance of joint and individual work, the modalities we draw from (EFT, IFS, EMDR, somatic work, relational depth), and the natural environment around you are all chosen with care. The land itself becomes part of the process—helping your bodies regulate, your minds settle, and your relationship begin to repair.

The integration.

When the intensive ends, we’ll check in to help the work settle and translate into your daily life. That might include a follow-up session, referrals, or simple practices to continue at home. The goal isn’t to create dependency—it’s to help the change hold, gently, in the rhythm of your real life.

Many couples extend their stay beyond our work. We’re located about two hours from Yellowstone and just an hour from both Big Sky and Bridger Bowl—beautiful places to rest, explore, and let the experience settle.

Why Choose a SACCA Intensive?

While weekly therapy is meaningful, necessary, and often life-giving, sometimes, the weekly model can’t hold the weight of what’s asking to be seen, named, or healed. That’s where SACCA Intensives come in. Not to replace traditional therapy, but to offer a deeper, more spacious container for the moments that call for more. When life feels tangled or urgent, when you’re ready to move beyond insight and into integration, this is the space.

You may also be wondering….

  • Most intensives run one to three days, depending on your goals and needs. We’ll decide together what length is right for you after your intake session. Longer or shorter formats are always an option.

  • Your fee covers all therapeutic time during your intensive and the customized preparation materials we create specifically for you. It also includes our post-intensive follow-up to help the work hold once you’re home.

  • Couples come to us for many reasons, but most share a common thread—they care deeply about their relationship and want something more than quick fixes or surface-level change. You might relate if you’re:

    • Doing well overall, but wanting to grow closer and strengthen your connection

    • Repeating the same patterns or conflicts, even when you understand what’s happening

    • Feeling more like partners in logistics than partners in life

    • Carrying unspoken hurt, betrayal, or transition that hasn’t fully settled

    • Wanting to rebuild trust, rekindle closeness, or decide how to move forward together

    • Ready for dedicated time and expert guidance in order to slow down, listen differently, and create lasting change

  • We draw from a wide range of approaches—IFS, EMDR, IFIO, somatic and mindfulness-based practices, attachment and trauma work, and relational depth models. Each intensive is uniquely curated, but one thing never changes: the work happens in relationship. Real, human connection is what makes these methods effective. Read more about our approach and experience here.

We believe in the wisdom of Carl Rogers. "We can learn all the modalities, all the techniques—but when we are with another human soul, we must simply be another human soul." That’s what we do—we meet you as fellow travelers.

  • Not necessarily. Many of our clients are already in therapy and use their intensive to complement the work they’re doing. We can collaborate with your current therapist(s) when it’s helpful, and our focus is on helping what you’ve learned take root.

Because you have days—not minutes—to stay with what’s emerging, the work often moves faster and goes deeper. Clients sometimes describe it as the equivalent of six months of therapy in just a few days.

  • It’s common for one partner to feel ready and the other unsure.

We’re glad to start with a conversation—together or individually—to answer questions, explore hesitations, and help each person understand what the process involves. There’s no pressure or commitment; sometimes simply talking about what’s hard to imagine doing is the first step toward clarity. If it feels more comfortable, an individual intensive is also an option until both of you are ready to work together.

  • You don’t need to be in pain to benefit from this work. Many couples come to strengthen what’s already good—to deepen intimacy, communicate more clearly, or simply feel close again after years of busyness. The intensive gives you uninterrupted time, guidance, and perspective to reconnect before small disconnections grow into distance.

  • Yes. Many couples come to us feeling like they’ve tried everything and are running out of options. When things are that fragile, the intensive setting can make all the difference—it offers enough time, safety, and guidance to get underneath the conflict and understand what’s truly happening between you. We can’t promise outcomes, but we can promise presence, honesty, and skilled support for whatever needs to unfold—whether that’s repair, clarity, or peace in deciding what comes next.

  • Yes! We offer pre-marital intensives for couples who want to enter marriage with deeper understanding, shared tools, and a supportive foundation for the years ahead. It's an incredible investment in your future!

  • This experience doesn’t fit neatly into any box.

People often ask if SACCA is therapy or coaching. The truth is, it holds elements of both—but it’s not entirely either. It’s therapy without the clinical feel. It’s coaching, in that we bring tools and forward momentum. But more than anything, it’s its own space: relational, immersive, clinically grounded, and soulfully led. To put it simply, it's healing in a way most people haven’t experienced before.

Some also wonder if it’s a retreat. It’s not. This isn’t a spa weekend or a scenic escape. It’s a return—to self, to relationship, to what matters most. The work is sacred, yes—but it’s also structured, trauma-informed, and designed to move you forward, not just make you feel better for a few days.

  • Through this work, couples often find their way back to each other—beyond the layers of protection, misunderstanding, and exhaustion that come from trying to keep things together. The intensive offers a chance to stop reacting and start truly seeing, listening, and understanding again.

Couples leave feeling more grounded in their connection, clearer in their communication, and more attuned to what’s actually happening beneath the surface. Many rediscover tenderness, trust, and the sense of partnership that once felt distant. Others find clarity about how to move forward with honesty and respect.

The outcomes are both profound and practical: renewed empathy, deeper understanding, and steadier ways to navigate conflict and care. Healing no longer feels like something to chase—it becomes something you can feel, hold, and carry home with you.

It's brave to reach for help,
and for each other.

When you're ready, we invite you to take the next.
