Most intensives run one to three days, depending on your goals and needs. We’ll decide together what length is right for you after your intake session. Longer or shorter formats are always an option.
-
Your fee covers all therapeutic time during your intensive and the customized preparation materials we create specifically for you. It also includes our post-intensive follow-up to help the work hold once you’re home.

People come to us for many reasons, but most share a common thread—they’ve done the work and still feel something unresolved. You might relate if you’re:
Feeling burned out or constantly “on,” even when you’re doing everything right
Disconnected from yourself, your partner, or your purpose
Moving through a major life shift—divorce, parenthood, loss, betrayal, or transition
Carrying old trauma or relational pain that won’t fully settle
Caught in patterns you understand but can’t seem to change
A helper, leader, or caregiver who’s spent years showing up for everyone but yourself
Longing for more than insight—for space to slow down and let healing take root
-
We draw from a wide range of approaches—IFS, EMDR, IFIO, somatic and mindfulness-based practices, attachment and trauma work, and relational depth models. Each intensive is uniquely curated, but one thing never changes: the work happens in relationship. Real, human connection is what makes these methods effective. Read more about our approach and experience here.
We believe in the wisdom of Carl Rogers. "We can learn all the modalities, all the techniques—but when we are with another human soul, we must simply be another human soul." That’s what we do—we meet you as fellow travelers.
-
Not necessarily. Many of our clients are already in therapy and use their intensive to complement the work they’re doing. We can collaborate with your current therapist when it’s helpful, and our focus is on helping what you’ve learned take root.
Because you have days—not minutes—to stay with what’s emerging, the work often moves faster and goes deeper. Clients sometimes describe it as the equivalent of six months of therapy in just a few days.
-
Yes. We understand that kind of exhaustion—the kind that seeps into every part of life, even the ones that look fine from the outside. Many of our clients arrive here worn down from carrying so much for so long. They’ve done the work, held it all together, and still feel disconnected from themselves, their purpose, or the people they love.
You don’t have to know what you need before you come. That’s part of what we help you find. Together, we’ll slow things down enough to listen—to the confusion, the loneliness, the ache that hasn’t had words yet—and begin to understand what it’s trying to tell you.
We created this space because we’ve lived that same distance from ourselves. We know how heavy it can feel, and how much lighter life becomes when someone finally helps you close the gap.
-
It’s a common worry—and a tender one. You might wonder if what you’re feeling really warrants this level of care or if what’s inside you might be too messy, too big, or too painful to touch.
We don’t measure pain in degrees here. What matters is whether you’re ready to listen to what’s been asking for attention. Our therapists are trained to hold a wide range of experiences—with the clinical skill to keep you safe and the relational depth to help you find true, visceral healing.
-
Both formats can be powerful—the difference is in what you’re ready for and what you need right now.
An individual intensive offers private, uninterrupted time to focus entirely on your story. It’s ideal for those wanting deep one-on-one work.
A group intensive brings connection and shared humanity into the process. You’ll do your own work while witnessing others doing theirs—often finding resonance, perspective, and a sense of not being alone.
We’ll talk with you before scheduling to decide what feels right for you.

This experience doesn’t fit neatly into any box.
People often ask if SACCA is therapy or coaching. The truth is, it holds elements of both—but it’s not entirely either. It’s therapy without the clinical feel. It’s coaching, in that we bring tools and forward momentum. But more than anything, it’s its own space: relational, immersive, clinically grounded, and soulfully led. To put it simply, it's healing in a way most people haven’t experienced before.
Some also wonder if it’s a retreat. It’s not. This isn’t a spa weekend or a scenic escape. It’s a return—to self, to relationship, to what matters most. The work is sacred, yes—but it’s also structured, trauma-informed, and designed to move you forward, not just make you feel better for a few days.
-
Through this work, clients often find their way back to themselves—beyond the layers of survival, self-protection, and the exhaustion of simply getting through the day. Our intensives help people stop bracing for life and instead soften into fully living it.
Clients leave feeling more grounded in their bodies, clearer in their relationships, and more connected to their inner truth. They gain the courage to name what’s real and the capacity to hold themselves—and others—with compassion. Many rediscover connection with their partners or families, and a sense of purpose that may have felt distant for a long time.
The outcomes are both profound and practical: increased clarity, confidence, peace, and lightness. Healing no longer feels clinical or out of reach—it feels whole, relational, and deeply restorative. And the shifts that begin during our time together don’t end when the intensive does—they ripple forward into daily life, offering lasting change.

Wanting to rebuild trust, rekindle closeness, or decide how to move forward together
Ready for dedicated time and expert guidance in order to slow down, listen differently, and create lasting change

It’s common for one partner to feel ready and the other unsure.
We’re glad to start with a conversation—together or individually—to answer questions, explore hesitations, and help each person understand what the process involves. There’s no pressure or commitment; sometimes simply talking about what’s hard to imagine doing is the first step toward clarity. If it feels more comfortable, an individual intensive is also an option until both of you are ready to work together.
-
You don’t need to be in pain to benefit from this work. Many couples come to strengthen what’s already good—to deepen intimacy, communicate more clearly, or simply feel close again after years of busyness. The intensive gives you uninterrupted time, guidance, and perspective to reconnect before small disconnections grow into distance.
-
Yes. Many couples come to us feeling like they’ve tried everything and are running out of options. When things are that fragile, the intensive setting can make all the difference—it offers enough time, safety, and guidance to get underneath the conflict and understand what’s truly happening between you. We can’t promise outcomes, but we can promise presence, honesty, and skilled support for whatever needs to unfold—whether that’s repair, clarity, or peace in deciding what comes next.
-
Yes! We offer pre-marital intensives for couples who want to enter marriage with deeper understanding, shared tools, and a supportive foundation for the years ahead. It's an incredible investment in your future!
